We Are Here, and We Are Just Getting Started
Welcome to RiseRahama Initiative
There is a saying that when you educate a woman you educate a nation. We believe that. But we also believe that when you empower a woman, truly equip her with skills, confidence and community, you change the story of everyone around her. That is what RiseRahama is about.
We are a Ugandan initiative built on a simple but deeply held conviction: that every woman deserves the tools to build a life she is proud of. Not because someone gave it to her but because she worked for it, earned it and owns it completely.
Through practical skills training in crocheting, bead making, weaving, bracelet making, handcrafts and more, we walk alongside women who are ready to take that step. Some come knowing exactly what they want. Others come not quite sure and leave with more than they expected. That is the part we love most.
We are still growing. There is so much more we want to do and so many more women we hope to reach. But every journey starts somewhere and this, right here, is ours.
